1. All instruments are subject to prior sale. In fact, some may already be sold. The problem with vintage instruments is the fact that only one instrument exists and when it is sold there is no replacement. Therefore, if you want it, make it known immediately or risk missing it. I won't hold an instrument for anybody I don't know personally without a significant down payment. The instruments I own are my own private personal collection so there are no showrooms to visit or business hours to call.

3. I am not responsible for tipagrafical eros, omissions, inadvertant misstatements, er vogue gineralizations. However, I do my best to be both accurate and conservative with each description of condition. Errors happen.

 
4. If you wish to reserve any piece for up to one week, such as pending receipt of photos, or while waiting for your funds to arrive, notify me immediately and make arrangements or it may be gone when you get around to letting me know.

 
5. Prices: the price shown is my Discount Price. You can get a 2 percent discount if payment is made in cash in my living room. Beyond that there is no discount. You are welcome to make an offer of less than my discounted price but don't be surprised if you get a polite "Thanks but no thanks".

 
6. HOW TO ORDER: I can ship any instrument ON APPROVAL. By that I mean you can try it out for 24 hours in your home without an obligation to purchase. You will have to pay the shipping costs both ways if you decide you don't want it. To do this:
 

 (a) email us and reserve the piece you desire so it doesn't get sold unexpectedly. (b) send a money order, personal check or bank cashiers check since I am not set up to accept credit cards. (c) I will ship via UPS or the USPS and you have 24 hours FROM time of DELIVERY to try it and let me know if, for any reason, you don't like the piece. When returned via UPS or USPS (prepaid) in the same condition as received, I will refund your purchase price in full, excluding the cost of shipping. PayPal charges me roughly 3% to collect funds. Therefore if you want to pay with PayPal add 3% to the total cost or add $5.00 and pay by eCheck.

Shipping is a flat $45 fee for UPS/Ground-with-Tracking anywhere in lower 48. Shipping charges to other destinations and charges for faster delivery methods may vary as well as in those cases where something is so expensive as to require insurance above $3000.
